Pulling the engine

If your hoist uses 1/2" holes like most, use the M11 head bolts. It's fine. We lift the blower engine with the 3/8" exhaust studs. You're lifting at an angle anyways, so the size difference doesn't matter as much.

So when I pull the mounts, so I want to just remove the single horizontal bolts on either sideor the 2 vertical ones holding the bracket to the mount?

pull the two 6" bolts going to the frame saddles. The mounts themselves should be able to stay on the block.
