Default Test on plenum

What is that suction test you can do with the intake hoses to test for blow out or suction to determine a leak in plenum.?
I looked down the intake an didnt see any oil pooling but wanted to look at other tests.
its a 01 3.9 Automatic .
Where else should I be looking to see where the oil is going ?
i have no leaks that are visable but it is using oil more.
Thanks

Disable and plug the PCV system. Take off the oil fill cap. Start the engine. Should be a breeze coming OUT of the fill hole.
