Don't forget ABS...... if you have 4WAL..... With a VIN mismatch, ABS and SRS will be disabled, and turn on the lights. If you have to have an inspection to get plates, either lite will cause you to fail.

 

I knew i was missing a module. I think RWAL has to be VIN matched to, but I could be wrong.

 

I am not sure about RWAL, It doesn't have the motor/controller that 4WAL does....... It DOES have a module stashed somewhere in the truck though......

 

Right next to the solenoids. It's not unified like 4WAL, But the pigtail is maybe 6" at most.

 

I have a 2002 SLT that had the same issues. I got one from Collis Truck Parts in Northampton, Pa.Ph.# 610-837-3405. The last 2 letters of the module were not the same as when I purchased mine. Cost me $75. They had 4 left as of September.
