My 2001 4.7 Hard starting I have to crank it over about 3 or 4 times
Any one have any ideas on what it could be? I've done a full tune up an ran injector cleaner through it a couple of times the only thing else I can think of doing is the fuel pump.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Check fuel pressure at initial key on, with the engine stone cold. See what your results are.
My truck (in my sig) is the same way. Takes a bit longer to start when cold. I just live with it.

You can try turning the key on, then off, 2-3 times without starting it, then try to start it. If it cranks right up, the fuel pump would need to be replaced because the internal check valve is leaking. Usually this is a prelude to a hard failure. If you replace it, get a Carter, Delphi or Mopar pump. Yes, it's a little more than an Airtex, but Airtex is what you install when you want to practice replacing fuel pumps.
