3.9 intake manifold
has any one done the kegger mod to the v6 intake? i need to replace mine thought about modding it or at least a little port blending before i weld a plate to seal it up..just dont want to kill any bottom end torq.. thanks for any help

Shortening the runners just moves the power band up a bit, and gives you a little more power in the upper rpm range. I did it on my 96 full sized with the 5.9, and it was a bit more peppy.
Don't weld the pan to the intake.... Just get a good gasket, and shorter bolts, or, the aluminum plate, that comes with bolts.
