Default Any easy radios to install?

Hello. I'm trying to find a radio that fits in my 04 dakota where I don't have to buy harnasses and a bunch of other crap. With my old cars radios were super easy to install. Are there any radios I can buy with bluetooth/aux that is super easy to install? Appreciate all replies!

Radios? Sure, lots. Bluetooth? No. Some later Mopars have aux. input, y '09 PT Cruiser has that. It won't fit without cutting the dash and lots of wiring. You have two options here. Find a truck like yours with an aftermarket radio and they used the proper harness instead of cutting and butchering the wires. Otherwise, bite the bullet and get the proper harness, install kit and a radio you like. A few extra bucks and it will pop right in. Wire everything up in advance and it's a quick upgrade.

Thank you for the info. I guess I'll bite the bullet. Shocking to me though why you have to go through all of that with this truck.

Go visit crutchfield. They include wiring harness adapters and have adapters that allow you to install your stereo like it was the factory unit The radios under 60 bucks don't include the install kit free of charge, but for those it's 18 bucks.

Every manufacturer uses different pinouts for their radios. That's why you buy the harness, to adapt the new radio to the vehicle. It's an EASY fix and foolproof. It's a much simpler and safer means than cutting connectors and splicing wires.

X2 on Crutchfield.

You would have to go this route for installing an aftermarket radio in any vehicle. Not really shocking. They are all different. X3 on crutchfield.

x4 crutchfield. Pay the $20 and they'll even make the harness for you.
