I recently did a head swap on my 1998 jeep grand that had the engine swapped over from a 99 dakota RT, I noticed that the rear lifter on the passenger side is sticking out alot more than any other and its causing the rocker arm to compress all the way down. It doesn't look normal at all to me, engine is at top dead center. I took a picture and removed the rocker and pushrod, is this how its supposed to look? I don't remember it being this far out, it still moves when I turn the balancer so I know it's not stuck.
Doesn't look too bad. Roll the motor over once, and compare it to a few others. Basically, I just think that valve is supposed to be open at that point.
