1997 dodge dakota manual transmission v6 3.9
Hey all, i have a 1997 dodge dakota 3.9l with a manual transmission,
The truck bucking hard in first to where the tires spin even when i let off the clutch smooth and itll do it in 3rd every few times after shifting in 3rd. Engine light gos on and check gauges light goes on. The truck will almost stall, gas gauge gos from its current fill line to a line under. Revs high in all gears like the clutch is slipping after unplugging battery it stopped revving high but still bucks, and lights.

Code 12 is the battery has been disconnected. I'd make sure all the grounds are clean and tight. Bad grounds can freak stuff out fast due to erratic power supply.
Well now its running fine im checking the crankshaft position sensor after the truck when in general will shake like its trying stalling then when in first sitting at 1 grand then itll get all it horsepower back and jump to 3 grand

This is exactly what my thought was, sounds like the whole truck was losing power and going back through the "boot up" sequence of bulb checks.
Check the battery ground to the fender and +12 stud on the PDC. Aside of that, I have to wonder if there might be a bad cell in the battery itself causing brownout.
