Default engine harness

does the engine wire harness go threw firewall or just to computer? i recently installed a modded intake and my tps i thought died but after replacing it it still would actup ever o often and i found if i lift up on harness it startes running good again ..the only place the harness is touching is right at back of block the hardest place to see so id like to take out harness to repair but not sure if or how it connects..thanks for any help

thought i had it fixed ..but nope still loose tps signal randomly

TPS wires just go to/from the PCM. That's it. Nothing goes inside. Start bending the harness around, one section at a time, should be able to find the trouble spot.

thanks for the info ..i started cleaning all my grounds and evan positive leads..on my breaks. i have figured out if i unplug the tps when it is running crazy it will throw a code and as soon as i plug it back in it runs good again im starting to think may be the plug is damaged..ill figure it out eventally or go crazy trying lol

Might just be the connector is worn, and not making good contact. Try just pressing on it a bit in various directions while it is screwing up, see if it figgers it out.

it worked twice pushing on connector so far..so i ordered a new connector and fingers crossed ...thanks
