Guages not working

Default Guages not working

I replaced the fuel pump now my guages aren't working ,any help

Default Guages not working

Yes it starts and runs,2003 dakota 5.9L the overhead display fluctuates but the needle won't move

Do a cluster test. Press and hold the trip reset button, turn the ignition on. Cluster will start the test in a couple seconds. (you can let go of the button.) All gauges should sweep thru their full range, and all lites should test. Does everything work the way it is supposed to?

When you did the fuel pump did you face the pump with the arrow inside the double lines? If you don't do that the float can get stuck on the side of the tank. (Assuming your just talking about the fuel level gauge.)
