02 3.9 crank but no start but when i leave battery off it starts next day then dies

Update , still not fixed .

Got spark , got fuel pressure 45 psi key on , 50 cranking. , still not starting. leads me to believe that injectors aren't opening (i don't have a proper tester for that). because either a bad wire somewhere or ecu/m dodgy

Can you pull the fuel rail with the injectors? Pressurize the fuel rail with carb cleaner or something similar and then jump the connectors with a battery. Then if that works hook it back up but with the injectors not in the engine but attached to the fuel rail still. Crank it and see if it sprays. I can't remember if there the ECU has certain conditions it needs to see to fire the injectors on the V6. Might be worth looking into. The spark plugs for example won't spark if you have a bad crank sensor on some engines for example.

Should be able to beg/borrow/rent a noid light set from your local parts store. Gotta give 'em money for it, but, you get your money back when you return it.
