aux water pump?

Default aux water pump?

dumpster diving @ the jy for the brake upgrade and came across what look like an aux water pump sitting near the passenger side firewall, did dodge ever put one in? looks like an after thought install...

yes took a pic and found it is an oem install, found it on another 4.7 durango, pic i took had a repair done to it. heading back to jy to get spindles for brake swap & will snap pic of the unmolested one

Probably for circulating the coolant to the heater lines/core for the rear cabin.

Yeah... this is the rear assembly. The red circle was pointing out a leak in the line for this particular unit. That's probably the core right where the line attaches.

Yes, durango rear heat has it's own heater core and a small pump to send hot coolant to it.
