What sensor is this by the distributor?

Oil pressure sensor. And moving the distributor does not change ignition timing, it only changes injector timing. Ignition is controlled by the pcm, based on the crankshaft sensor.

Default Oil pressure sensor

What i found is its a oil pressure sensor mine is cracked i looked it up on a parts website compared it with the part i found and its exactly the same so i ordered it i was wondering why my oil gauge was acting funny i will let you know if this fixes my problem

Thats what i will look like if you were to unscrew it an pull it out
