Do it for the much better braking experience. Get the Durango front brakes too. Large twin piston calipers.

Ok thanks for that and the durano brakes would be from the same year? And will they fit the dakota knuckle or do they also need to be changed?

Changing pads is indeed easier than changing shoes, but, I think I change shoes about every third front brake job..... and that's a LOT of miles. Generally, I do rear brakes on a vehicle ONCE during my ownership.

Yeah, Me too. I generally do 'em when I buy a used vehicle, because they invariably need them..... but, I don't drive a lot, so they last a decade or more, by which time, I forget how much I hate working on them.

You are only getting 25K miles out of 'em?? Do you tow/haul a lot? I generally get 50-60K out of a set of rears. Or more......

I used to tow alot before she was no longer road worthy cause of all the work she needed and just havent had time with all the work i had. Pretty much for the past 2 year only used the truck around the back yard for lumber and moving dirt.
