HVAC LEDs

My condenser had a hole in it and I never did anything about it, the truck sat for a long time. It failed the cool-down test during diagnostics, so both AC and heated mirrors LED's blinked for eternity.
I then did the V6/V8 swap.
So I replaced the condenser on my truck and serviced lines, gaskets, etc over the last few months and recharged the system.
It passed the cool-down test, however, now the AC light does not come on at all, and heated mirror is blinking.
Apparently this is common after a PCM swap or flash?
The PCM registers in the DRB as a 2001 AN Dakota 5.9 50 state emissions. Factory was 2001 AN Dakota 3.9 50 state emissions.
But the HVAC module registers as a 2002 AN Dakota. Which makes no sense.
Is there any way to restore function of the AC light? I performed a HVAC module reset in the DRB, and I have the master-power switch off most of the time, so i assume all memory gets cleared in the modules anyways.
