Nope. And trying to find it when the condition isn't present is downright impossible.

 

Another question. What all does the BCM control? Am I correct in thinking it works the windows, key fob, interior lights and door chime? If so I believe it could be a BCM related issue creating a fault in the BUS line.

 

Have to look in the service manual for that..... I don't have one.

The BCM, or Central Timer Module (CTM) on a 2001 Dakota, depending upon version controls:

Automatic door locks
Battery protection
Central locking
Chimes
Door lock inhibit
Enhanced accident response
Exterior light features (headlights, foglights, etc.)
Interior light features
Intermittent wipers
Panic mode
Power lock control
Programmable features
Remote Keyless Entry
Remote Radio switch interface
Speed sensitive intermittent wipe control
Vehicle theft security system

It does not control the windows, that is self contained at the drivers door.
It also does not control the power mirrors or seats.
