1997 dodge dakota won't stay running
I was driving my dodge dakota today stopped at a light today and the idle dropped and couldn't get to start again. Its a extra car so i don't drive everyday. I bought a new battery as the old battery seemed weak. But the car will start but won't stay running. Looks like if i keep my foot on the gas it is fine but when i let it drop to normal idle it dies. I changed the idle air contol in the summer and did a oil change. Is there something else i need to look into changing or maybe something i overlooked. Its a extra car but also has 4wd so i like to have it for when it snow bad in the area.

Clean the throttle body, paying special attention to the IAC well. It likes to clog up with carbon.
Once done, disconnect the battery, turn on the headlights, turn off the headlights, reconnect battery, turn ignition On (not start), count to ten (don't touch anything), THEN start the truck. PCM should figure out idle pretty quick.
