Default Cam sensor code when engine gets hot

I have a 98 Dakota RT 5.9. I replaced the crank sensor, cam sensor and repaired the wires near the cam sensor pigtail on the engine wire harness (I think....) As soon as it gets hot enough and throttle the gas the check engine light comes on and starts to run rough. If I turn it off it won't restart. I used Standard brand crank sensor from Amazon and Standard brand cam sensor from O'Reilly.

If anyone else has gone through this problem I will appreciate the help.

If it runs rough, and won't restart, that still could be either one, though I would lean toward the cam sensor. Get a genuine mopar sensor. The trucks really don't like the aftermarket fellers.

Default I think I fixed it I still have to clear the codes

I couldn't find the factory sensor. I did find one made is the USA. I installed this one and it restarts when hot now. I have to clear the codes still.
