Hello I am new here I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota with a 4.7l had a burnt valve removed heads had both serviced I put it back together. Got it running for about 30 minutes engine slowed down started to spit and sputter then stut off will not restart don't know what to do next help please.

Double check everything. How's the cam timing? Any pinched wires, maybe touching the exhaust?
How's the coolant level? It didn't overheat did it?

 

I have been all over this truck this morning it never got hot at all, Never made any noise, Just acted like it ran out of gas. Didn't have fuel pressure changed that still spins and sometimes it acts like it wants to run. I might just tear it down again

 

Do you have a noid light? Check the injectors for power.
Could you have damaged the cam position sensor or it's harness?
Check for codes.

 

No codes harness fine cam position senser new. All I know is to tear it down see if timing slipped
