Easy out and penetrating oil. Other alternative is to pull the head.......

Default HeyYou

Thank you HeYYou, we've tried with lubricant and the easy out and it didn't budge at all! It had overheated several times and to my knowledge has never had a tune up until now. So it's pretty stuck! We have literally exhausted all options! I was hoping for some other "wonder" option I guess! With the head it wouldn't be so expensive until install time so I was trying the best cheaper route. I appreciate your help and time.

Unfortunately, I think your only remaining option is to pull the head......

Did it break off trying to put one in, or pull one out?

They broke during removal! Had a second one break off now!! Pulling the head is that expensive? I love this truck but I am worried about putting all this money into it and it just die on me! Ive bought so many parts and have spent so much already!! How long will it keep going?!

Yeah, sounds like you'll def be pulling the head. Is that expensive? If you're not doing the work, most likely. It's a lot of work.
Lots of people debate this, but I always put high temp antiseize on spark plug threads for this very reason.

What engine do you have? It sounds like a second gen magnum. They end in 7. 3.7, 4.7 or 5.7. Those are real stinkers to work on and pulling the head is a real fun job. The first generation of Magnums are based on the LA design and while not easy, don't require timing chains and such to come out.
