What is the source of the longer studs? I have been looking for longer studs for a GM vehicle
with no luck. I'm happy with the factory setup on my Dakota. Thanks...

Ordered em online just Google the size an 50mm Amazon to Walmart to eBay .$20 for 12 ..But I did find some smaller but long enough ones on what looks like a Liberty ....
Got some deeper lug nuts to try on the ones installed in pic .maybe it will fit without bottoming out .

You can also get the ones for Jeep Liberty .
they are not as long an more ideal on mine..with the typical lug nuts too

The Jeep liberty stud in middle was perfect

Is it ok to run on those in the front where those longer studs are- about 3 or 4 threads past lug ?
Lafter on I'll get the other 10 studs off a liberty but wondered if it's ok like that .
I do have spacers if that would help but would rather not use them .
Thanks

I used to build aircraft, to govt' specs. Specs say 1.5 threads or more must show, past the nut or aircraft will not be certified. Makes no difference where the nut is located, or what size the nut, be it on a small Cessna, a big 747 airliner, Military aircraft, or the Space shuttle. If it flies, it must meet these specs! ( up to 3 Spacers are allowed, or use a shorter bolt)
This, resulting from decades of testing, and NTSB* failure investigations.
