I tried looking for wt/bk in the manual and only thing that comes up is speaker wires. But that looks like a mercury switch, like would go to the hood mounted lamp.

Exclamation 1, What's this connector? and 2, brake fluid level...

1 I too, would say it's a mercury sw. But for what ? It's too short for a hood lamp.

2 My brake fluid reservoir shows the fluid level thru the walls.

Yours looks empty or at least very low!

Probably just oxidized like hell. Mine is just like that. Can't see the level without pulling the cap. What engine do you have? 4.7 or is that one of the V6's?

valve cover looks like a V6, but that's not relevant to the question really.

I also agree it's short for the hood connector. But I can't place what else it might be for.

I have the 3.9 V6 magnum, coming apart for the 2nd time...
Now due to White smoke at tailpipe. Just replaced the Driver side head last month. and it's Deja Vu, repeated!! The guy doing the heavy lifting dropped the head when installing. May have dented the gasket causing the coolant leak. It didn't show up till a week later. so it's been sitting... due to the rain. Now , a new gasket set, and Voila! here I go again.

After a few months of early AM fiddling with her, (due to lack of tolerance for the triple digit temperatures, and evening Mosquitos) I finally got her back together and running..
all was well for the next day.... and then the next morning, all she'd do is crank...
Went in for Cataract surgery a 10 minute operation they said.... that ended up being closer to 45 minutes, (unforseen complications). and being given extra anesthesia, starting to see better, after 2 weeks of recovery, but haven't been to work on the dakota at all yet.
I got a 2013 Honda Civic from a friend in the interim, (living in the boonies one needs a vehicle....) and the truck has been "Not ready for prime time" for over 3, going on 5 . months. So the Dakota has become a place holder in the driveway for now. Will be going into surgery again for the other eye, hopefully in a few more weeks...months? It all depends on this eye healing correctly and not needing further surgery.
Lets hope that goes easier!!!
I will at some point, get back to the truck and get her running. But I don't know when that'll be. 'Till then, I'll still be around, on and off... Keep on truckin !

Sad to say, but I'm going to have to put her up for sale.
I'm just getting too old and ill,
(triple bypass, venus insufficiency, Lymphedema , cataracts,)
to finish this project.
Where on here can I advertise?
