Default 2wd upper control arm/bushing

Why is it so tough to find a passenger upper control arm for a RWD online ? 4WD are all over ,an some companies don't even stock rwd .What gives?
I ordered one but it's a to a 4wd Dakota (an it's incorrect on pivot bar )... maybe I can switch out the new bushings an keep the original bar since that seems to be the only difference....What technique works on getting the darn bushings out ?
I tried the big C clamp / ball joint press to no avail an the big 3 jaw puller too....but with a middle bar I can't get the leverage ..
Winder how much a shop charges to use their press on em ..
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks .

Default Control arm bushings

I have a 99 R/T and I bought a complete set of poly bushings from energy ......I got them off ebay they are alittle different to install but definitely worth the hassle

But ..is yours 2wd ? I 1st bought the bushings thinking hey this won't be too difficult w that ball joint press or jaw puller ...boy was it..With pressure, no good way to directly an straight ,push em out.
Again why is the 2 wd so tough to find online? .. By the time I try to return the 4wd one an pay 15 more bucks id be buying a new ball joint ..alone . Assembly was just 63 bucks. ..so I decided to keep it an put the ball joint off it ,on mine later ..I have to figure out how to get my original bushings off.
Any tools I may try besides those 2?

I'm gonna try a smaller 3 jaw puller ..

That popped the pivot bar out...whew .
Used a smaller 3 jaw with flat edge lip..but only 2 sides..
Push the center thru.
Gotta hammer out or C clamp the bushings.

Got the new ones in.1st one with big C clamp an last one in w 2 jaw puller ( tricky to do but with a metal cup an the 2 jaw puller you can press it in ). See pic

I looked at the other upper control arm -(drivers side )and saw that it is NOT built as the passenger side with that bend in the pivot bar..why did they make one side -passenger -bent in ,an the drivers side straight? An no they are not interchangable.

That's just bizarre.... Is the bolt spacing on the two different varieties the same? COULD you swap 'em to be both the same??

Maybe it has to do with camber an other adjustments? Wonder what the shop manual says ..

I didn't recall the direction it was turned but I think it goes in as 1st pic..correct?

Not 2nd one
Correct?
