Default Passenger side electric window

2003 Dodge Dakota passenger side window had been a little sticky and now it goes part way down and then tilts pretty hard to the rear side. I stop bringing it down for a bit and then continue and it straightens out and am able to take it all the way down and return to fully closed.

Any ideas??? Can't be the motor...wonder if one of the bolts came loose or dropped out? I unplugged the connector to the window control on this passenger side so that someone doesn't accidentally try to roll it down as am concerned about further damage.

Pull the door panel, have a look at the windows guides/channels.

On my 2000 there are rollers that move the glass up in the channel. It's sort of like a mini scissor jack.
If it's the roller, it likely failed. I've had that happen. It's not hard to replace.

Default Concerned...

,,,that if I remove the door panel something could happen to prevent the repair from getting done within a day or so and wondered if I can yet open/close this door from the outside with the panel removed?

Thank you.

Yes. Interior door panel has nothing to do with exterior door handle.

Yeah, you can take the door panel off and reconnect any switches and drive around like that. Might even be able to open from inside if you reconnect the handle. If you don't see an obvious cause, try spraying the window tracks with graphite lube. Messy stuff so be precise.
