My 98’ dakota just started making this kinda popping, cracking sounds when i turn the steering wheel on the inside the cab. Any tips? It does have a lil play but it always did n this popping sound just started.

Default No tilt.

This model doesn’t have the tilt, its weird the noises. I do need to change the steering shaft bc it has a lil play but it always had play in it n it just started making the other noises.
