Default 5.7L hemi swap in a '03 4x4

I am thinking about swap my 4.7L to a 5.7L hemi.
I have been doing my research and come across a couple things that I am not sure about.
1. When using the hemi motor mounts, will I need to use a low profile oil pan?
2. Will I be able to use my original transmission mount or will it need to be modified?
these are the main questions I have at this time. All answers will be greatly appreciated.

I guess I posted this in the wrong forum.

If a moderator could move it to the proper forum, I would greatly appreciate it.

I would assume it's a Dakota since that's where the post is. If you look threw the old threads there is a post where someone did just that. It got in a accident and it was totaled. The poster hasn't been back for years. That thread may shed some light. That was years ago and more options are available today for a hemi swap.

I have read several threads about the hemi swap but all of them have been about 2wd not 4x4.

If there is a thread about 4x4's, please post a link because I have not been able to find it.

Talked to one of my mechanics, he told me that the 4.7L and 5.7L blocks are the same they just have different bore sizes.
Technically, I could use my old oil pan and pick up.
Also told me that I should not have a problem the trans mount either.
If I am guessing right the only problem should be the wiring side of swap.

Did the Hemi ever come in the Dak? That would make life a LOT easier... but, I don't think it did.

I don't know if you could just flash your PCM for hemi, or if you would need to replace the harness/pcm etc. Swaps got a LOT more complicated with all the tech manufacturers are stuffing into vehicles these days.....

The hemi did not come in the Dakota but it did in the Durango. Never made any sense to me because they were both built on the same frame.
As far as the PCM/ECM goes I have heard different stories. I think it depends on the year of the Hemi. I have been told that using a motor between '03-'06 or a motor with the D code in the Vin are the best to use. But run you into the problem of either a drive by cable or drive wire accelerator.
Using a drive by wire is the easiest as far as modern tuning goes.
I miss the days when you did not have worry about a lot of electronics when swapping out a motor.
