Default Security lamp comes on and engine shuts off

I have owned this 2002 Dakota Sport with a 3.9 in it from new and have had a new issue developed. It runs fine for a while then shuts down after the security light comes on , when you try to restart it will crank but will not start. If you turn the key on all the warning lamps come on, they all go out then the security lamp comes on followed by each warning lamp coming on one at time followed by the odometer flashing 4 times then displays “ no bus” in the odometer and then the check engine light comes on. I have tried cleaning every ground I can find under the hood and will stat looking at the connector pins on every connector. I am wondering if anyone has run into this problem and if they have found a solution

Tells me nothing. How does it determine if you are legit or not?

The truck has 2 original chipped keys and 1 replacement key. They all do the same thing. This started randomly after starting the truck and did finally restart after about 10 minutes ran very rough for a while. The second time it happened I was not able to get it restarted and had to have it towed home. I was able to start it after a couple of days and the third time it stopped after idling for 15 minutes.

I would suspect that however it reads the key is the part that is failing. Assuming you get the same behavior from all the keys?

Have you tried disconnecting your battery for a few minutes to allow the system to reset?

Has someone tried to remove the radio? I've heard that the security system will think your radio has been tampered with and will shut the truck down.
