holy old post batman

but I use full synthetic in both my trucks, some people say you shouldnt use synthetics in a higher milage motor, I dunno... I've had no real problems with it. my buddy says thats why I threw a rod bearing outta my motor, but I think that had to do with something else. I will still continue to use synthetics.

i dont think using synthetic oil caused you to spin a bearing or thow a rod. No oil...perhaps.

ya, I dont think it caused it either, I had lots of oil. I dunno. it was sitting all winter and I only started it once. which usually I will start it once amonth. but this year I was just too busy. then when I went to get it out acouple weeks ago, it started to knock like hell. so maybe it was a dry startup that caused it....

Synthetic is the factory fill for both my viper and my vette. It's also the only oil rolls royce, pratt& whitney, general electric, and allison use in their jet engines.

If it's good enough for all of the above then it's good for my Dak as well. I have been using it on my dak since I did it's first oil change.
