Default suspension squeaking

My front end keeps on squeaking when I go over bumps. I had the dealership fix the problem but a recent trip through the mud seemed to have brought it back in milder form. Anybody else had this problem with their dakota?

your bushings probably need to be greased, the dealership probably just spray lubed it and made the sqeak go away but that won't solve the problem permanently, you should check to see if you have any grease fittings, if you do go to a local mech. and ask if they can grease you bushings he can probably do it cheaper than any dealer

I seem to have the same squeaking problem with my truck except that it seems that the badk of my truck squeaks. I do not have a bed liner of any kind. Could it just be the tailgate and bed rubbing of something?
Thanks
Dave

Mine sweaks too, It's most likely the bushings for the leaf pack.
I'm waiting for warmer weather to do a full suspension tune-up wtih polyurethane bushings.
{it did stop after I hauled two 1 ton loads of gravel}

Do you have a ballpark idea of how much it might cost to have a shop replace the bushings with polyurethane ones?

I'm honestly not sure offhand
I got a full bushing kit for $50 and I'll do the install myself
I could guess 'tween $70-$200 depending on where you are, the work involved in replacing them, some pop in and out with relative ease but a friend of mine had to drill his out{not pretty} my area dosen't have many shops so the price would be higher
that is a very rough estament
