Default component or full range

hi, i just bought an 02 dakota sport reg cab 3.9l 5spd 2wd. im getting ready to put together a lite system and am wondering if the door speakers have stock mounting points for component speakers or just the regular 2 range? in other words is there a place for both tweeter and midbass or just a full range 2/3 way? i know the front speaker size is 6 3/4"and i am going to get an adapter to go to 6.5". the rear speaker size is 5 1/4, correct? are they components as well or full range? i do not have any special audio system, just a regular cd player and speakers. any help you all could provide me with would be greatly appreciated, as well as any links to sites that have instructions / pictures for installing a new headunit (i have the adapter and wiring harness) as well as speakers, both front and back. thanks again.

unless they chnge the door panels from 98 to 02, the stock ones are full range.

I have components in mine. 6.5" front, 5.25 rear. The tweeters in the door are about 6" above the mid in the door. Just had to drill a 1" hole in the door plastic. My big concern was where to mount the crossover. The rear I have the tweeter right under the seat belt mount so its out of the way.

Apparently you didn't get the infinity setup. My 02 QC has tweeters mounted up high. If you want to go with a stock appearance, you could probably pick up the door cards off one that has the tweeters.
