Default Transmission question

Hi... My friend has a 2000 dokota. One night while driving the stick(its manual) went loco and would not shift. We removed the boot and saw that this piece had cracked(pics below) and we can not find this piece or what it is called. Does anyone know where one can be obtained or if you have on for sale that would be great. It is the white box.

It is cracked on the other side of the picture. We all ready tried glueing it and it just came apart again. He wants to get a new piece completely though he is not worried about fixing. I would take more pictures but I am not near his car and I also dont have photoshop.

The white-ish tower looking part the shifter goes into is cracked?

If that is, then its gotta be replaced.

We want to replace it. We are trying to figure where to get one from. The dealership looked at us like we were crazy and the local auto stores have been of no help either.
