Default power steering hoses

just got done installing my new power steering pump in my 98 dak sport. 've come to a rough spot, i forgot wich hose connects where to the rack under the truck. The places where they connect are vetical, one on top of the other and i cant for the life of me remember if the return goes on top or bottom. Also....just to be certain is the return hose the one that bolts into the pump ( the lower hose on the actual pump), or is it the one that just slips on??

I've never had to deal with power steering before on this truck so im kinda lost. thanks

Here ya go. Hope this helps. (Pic)
FYI, I got this from the service manual provided here thanks to Daksport1pa.
*edit - the service manual is for a 2001, but most of the stuff will apply as well*

The hose that ultimatly connects on the bottom (yellow) looks like to connects to the pump via a threaded fitting
The hose that ultimatly connects on the top (red) looks like it connects to the pump via a hose that is clamped on.

*moan* this truck gives me so many preoblems haha. Well i have the hoses hooked up, but it was opposite of the diagram....the return is on bottom and the one that is bolted on is on top. I tried the other way but just couldnt get them to fit. Does anyone happen to have a diaram or their manual handy for their 98 dak sport?

i just cranked the engine over a bit to get the fluid going in the system and i looked and the fluid in the reovior is a milky light brown?? is this normal? i know they say to pump new fluid through until its clear, but does it come out a solid milky brown or something like that at first? very strange...
