Default pcv valves

question about pcv valves? I have about 85,000 on my original pcv valve. I've heard that it wouldn't matter if i changed it or not. will it effect my MPG?

Default RE: pcv valves

The PCV valva is an "inspect every 30,000 miles" item. Just un-plug it from where ever it is (leave the vacuum line connected to it). If you feel a vacuum coming from it, it's good.
