Meh, throw the throttle body spacer out. The gains are purely mental (it's gotta work, I paid $XXX for it). Unless of course somebody wants to show some before/after dyno slips proving otherwise.

So just to ask/argue about it. Have you seen a dyno sheet that shows no improvment? There has to be some basis behind the idea. I myself haven't tried one, due to cost of them, but can't see a company researching and producing items that don't do anything. As you might get the first few suckers with hype, but once the word got out, your company would be screwed.

It reminds me of the TRE mod with my motorcycle. It does not show any HP gains on the Dyno, but everyone who has done the mod will agree to better throttle response and smoother RPMs.

Just curious

a TB spacer DOES have benefit, but only on carburated motors. it does nothing to fuel injected engines. i am sorry for the people who have thrown their money away on TB spacers to only have gained a little bit of weight on their truck. [X(] i know where you can get a great header spacer if you want! send me $30 per cylinder and i will send you some header spacers. they send exiting exhaust gas spinning which speeds the exhaust through your pipes at a much higher rate, not only giving you more horsepower but adding at least 25mpg. i only accept cash.

well, at least you didnt get your pants pulled down over the situation. as far as the 14x3, what housing are you going to get with it? i know edlebrock makes a unit that will fit. my advice? buy it and try it. if it doesnt fit, return it and complain about "the scratches on the top of the housing! its like someone tried to fit this thing and it wouldnt fit! now return this housing and the filter. where is your manager?!?"
