if you know what you are doing and dont get your wires mixed up, you can have it done easily under an hour. more like 30 minutes if you are a pro like me hahah.

I thought it would be super easy since it's ridiculously easy to do plugs and wires on my Neons.

Nope! I'll be honest, the first time I did it on my 3.9 Dak it took me hours (plugs, wires, cap and rotor). The second time through better be alot easier...

I took out the spark plugs and wires for the first time on my 3.9 and the only problem was getting them out because it has those stupid metal things around them so u need to get an extender, oh also on the right rear spark plug was harder, lol the left side like took me 10 minutes it was so easy....

But dude, I dont think it'll take him a whole day? but if U have someone that'll do it for you then thats cool... but I like the experience and finding out everything about my truck

the only problem i can remember having, the last time i changed the plugs, wires, cpa, and rotor was getting to the cap. it is lodged behind the motor in quite a tight spot between the top of the hood, the motor, and the firewall. everything else is very straight forward. i ended up using an adjustable angle extended phillips and it was a breeze.

well..... finished... jeeze 3 hours.... to do my dakota... had to take the air cleaner and the battery out.. spry the plugs down with pb blaster... wait... then start on one plug, then do the wire.. etc, etc... screw the cap and rotor...i did enough.. plus there fine... no problem.. starts right up in a second so no worries... normally it took about a few seconds

It didn't take me all day. But it certainly took me a few hours. Next time through I know it'll probably be an hour job.
