But instead of buying a full size truck, ever thought about a work quad with a plow attachment? Their plows are easier to store over summer than a huge 8' plow.
+1 on the ATV setup.

yea man.. your better off with getting an atv to do the plowing.. the frames on these trucks are not srtong enough... my friend's parents use a 97 dak for plowing... the frame has been restraightened 4 times already.. gets weaker each time... i use my quad to do the plowing.. its a 350lbs sport quad... thats 2 ( full time) rear wheel drive.... or just picture a 03 honda 400 ex with a plow of it.. well... ot does the job.. just i gotta do sections at a time.. fun part is.... a little snow cover is left on the driveway... nothing beats doing some donuts to uncover the pavement... put it this way... cheap 4x4 utility atv with diff lockers front and rear... get the plow attachment.. no more then $6000... just think of the damage your preventing your truck from going through
