hopefully that one is easier to read.

so do you think if I just run a can of sea foam in it, it should make it better. I have heard alot of people say good things about it.
for the o2 sensor, am I gonna have to use the torches to heat it up to get it out?
it's amazing how much better it's running already, after I do all this stuff it should be running perfect. my plate expires on the 9th. so this weekend I gotts do alot of stuff to it.

yeah that's alot easier to read. I'd expect that the o2 sensor cleaning and combustion chamber cleaning should fix it. Do ALL of the suggestions I gave you and know exactly where you stand with the cat. to me the cat looks like it's working ok. do the injector cleaning and combustion chamber cleaning BEFORE you re-test it. if you have Chevron where you live, get their gas. its amazing stuff.

ok, so I took out both o2 sensors and cleaned them really good. and I put some fuel injector cleaner in a 1/2 tank of gas. and it seems to run even better now. I looked around for sea foam, but nobody sells it around here. maybe its only available in the states. well today before I go to work I'm gonna go tot the dealer and buy some mopar throttle body cleaner. should I spray the whole can in there or just a lil bit of it? I always fill up at petro-canada or sunoco for gas. so I know I'm getting good gas. and I'm gonna take it in on wed for the e-test, so everything can get time to work. and cause my plate expires on thurs.

one of my buddies said that I might have been getting the engine too hot before the e-test. cause I took her out doin 150+ kms on a back road to get her nice and hot. this time I'm gonna just drive around town in second gear to heat it up a lil faster.

Your buddy is mistaken... drive it on the hiway... the hotter the cat, the better it works. Dodge sells a combustion chamber cleaner that you can use. skip the TB cleaning for now, it wont get you anything.

also FYI, if you did a battery disconnect at all, you'll need to put 200~250 miles on it before the re-test. it'll take the pcm that long to re-learn and to clear it's diagnostic tests that it does.

ya thats what I thought about getting the cat as hot as possible. and I'll buy some mopar combustion chamber cleaner. and I never disconnected the battery so it's all good then.

I'd put my money on the O2 sensor - 125k miles and it's probably the original one. The front O2 is the one that adjusts the mixture, the rear one (after the cat) just tells the ECU if the cat is doing its job. Let us know if it passes.

even if they are that old, as long as they can get the full exhaust stream to evaluate, it should be fine... if it's dead or slow to respond then swap it out.

here's the tread on the combustion chamber cleaner...

ya, I'm gonna do the combustion cleaner in the morning. I just wanted to say that it is the origional 02 sensors, I cleaned them good so hopefully it helps. and it was the origional destributor cap, rotor and plug wires. so now I'm wondering what else is still origional and what else I should be looking at. I know the ball joints are new cause they replaced them when I bought it 2 years ago. any thing else I should be looking at?

swap the o2's... the front ones mostly. they are the ones controlling the AFR along with the MAP sensor.
