I have the Hotckis TVS with an additional 1" DJM block in the rearand absolutely love it. It does ride hard, but the handling and lack of body roll is amazing! Air bags are great too, and can yield great performance and ride characteristics too if you get the right setup.

I wouldn't reccomend doing the air kit (although its bad-*** and I want to do it) its kinda impractical for daily drivers. Any susp. company should sell a kit for your truck. Mine is a 3/5 drop and its great, been that way for 4 years now and although its a bit of a rough ride, its kool!! I personally wouldn't do the blocks either. My kit had replacement leaf spring hangers, burn the rivots off the old ones, and bole 'em in. On the front there are two ways to do it, 1st is lowered springs, which work fine, but spindles are better. Good luck on your adventure and dont forget to post pics!!

Why are air bags so bad for daily drivers. What is bad about them. I know it is going to be a smooth ride. Is it just bad because its is wavy at times like bounces up and down too much or what?

I guess they really aren't BAD for daily drivers, but I live in Michigan, and the roads here aren't that good. Although, it may make 'em better!?!
