Default Signal Clicker

My signal clicker is wearing out and my signal lights will flash and then stay solid, I know the box I have to replace is under the dash, btu can anyone pinpoint the eaxact location? 2000 Dakota Club Cab SLT

It will also do that if one of your turn signal light is burned out......check your turn signal lights

if you have a bulb out it will blink fast. as for the fuses there right when you open the drivers side door. there on the side of the dash. and there is a diagram with all fuse locations on it.

That isn't a fuse, it is a relay.

Well I have had cars do both fast blinking and just stay on if there was a burned out turn signal light but I have to be honest I have not had a light burn out in my Dakotas......but all pretty easy to check.

None of the lights are burnt out, that was the first thing I checked. And it's nota fuse, it's a relay, so does anyone know it's exact location?

Check your service manual. If I had to guess, it will be under the steering wheel, on the driver's side, or by your e-brake. It looks like a tiny black box. You know that thing that makes a clicking sound when you put your turn signal on? That is your relay.

So I replaced it... I was looking for a little black box, it was actually green...so that took me some time haha...I saw it right in front of me BUT I never looked twice as it was GREEN...not black
