I actually think he is right. But only because he talks about adding 2 things, 1.7's for higher rpm HP and the 50mm TB for low end TQ. If he were talking just 1.7's then I think it would just be hi rpm HP.
I agree... the 1.7's on my 360 were an awesome mod by themselves, also the 52mm TB was awesome by itself... combine the 2 and it is a rockin upgrade. I would stick with a 50mm fastman myself though...

what would it do having 52mm instead of 50? cause all they let is air in. i can see having way too big a carborator cause then you wash the cylander walls down and tear things up. just out of curiosity i dont doubt you on it being too big just curious on what it would do
I have seen the 50mm and 52mm compared on an R/T 5.9L and the 50mm will give better low end torque and 1/8th mile times and the 52mm will give better hi rpm hp for quicker 1/4 times. I chose 50mm do to I like to go slow and 4x4. If your a street racer, I would go 52mm.
Twiz - he's got a smaller engine though, and will be using that much less air.
Larger throttle body openings mean less low-rpm control of airflow, which will result in lost power and decreased driveability. Sure, the 52mm will work, as will a 55+, but it's not the best application for your setup, much like a set of 90 lb-hr fuel injectors wouldn't be a good choice.
