Default torque

Ok i have a 5.2 Magnum and i'm wanting more low end torque out of the motor. It already has exhaust and intake and has been hypertech programmed. What is the way to get the most bang for the buck?

One idea would be to swap gearing in the back.

You could do the 1.7 rockers, however, most people will experience gains in the higher rpm range than whatI imagine you are looking for.

Then what you need is more displacement, higher compression ratio, or forced induction. You can run a lumpier cam but that'll most likely move your power band up in the RPMs. If you went with a lower RPM range cam it'll hurt your upper end horsepower.

wrong. Harland Sharp 1.7 rocker arms and a 48mm F&B throttle body will show horsepower and torque gains throughout the whole RPM range. These 2 mods on a 3.9 have shown up to 30 horsepower and similar torque numbers. A 5.2 is the same motor as a 3.9 except bigger, so expect to see the same types of gains.

Got any dyno graphs before/after to back that up? I don't doubt that both hp and torque are added, but logic says it would shift the numbers up in the RPMs.

My thoughts exactly Horatio. I am sure that both numbers are up, however you will be seeing gains in the higher RPM range. I would also like to see the dyno results.
