Default 2wd lift help please.

i just sold for car for my new dakota best thing ever. i got a 01 dakota 2wd 4dr. i am wanting to lift it just a bit so i was thinking of a 3" body lift. i had a silverado with 6" lift with 35 i liked it but i dont want to go that big. i was wondering if i could fit these wheels under it. 31x12.5 on 15x10in eagle alloy series 0589 rims. you might think that they stick out a bit but i kind of like they way that they look sticking out a bit. but i was wondering if its going to rub any. thanks for the help.

You could either do a 3in BL or Fabtech makes a 3in suspension lift for the 2wd. Its a bit more money but more functional.

I have the Fabtech lift, however, I opted not to put on the add a leaf in the back. I am currently running 33" BFG's and it performs great offroad.

I did have some problems rubbing. When running tires as big and as wide as what I am, you will have to do some trimming.

If you are going to go with 31's (which should not rub at all) I would go with the 10.5" width.

31's were an available dealer option, its a good size with no modifications on this truck. they came stock on my 4x4 but i imagine they fit well on a 4x2 too, im sure someone else can back me up on this
