Default Headlight Question

I have an 02 Dakota. Anyone know what the wattage is on the headlights? I want to get some xenon white headlights, but I here if you dont get the same wattage as the stock headlights, you will burn up the wires. Also how long do these xenon bulbs usually last?

the manual that comes with the truck tells. or you can pull the light out and check. i dont think the wires will burn up, but you might melt the plastic lens if they get to hot

65/55 watts. You might as well just get H.I.D.s to make it worth it.

IF you want white bulbs, stock wattage, get some Euro Lites Super Plasma Bulbs. I have them in my headlights and fog lights, and they shine pure white.

Ok I ordered them off ebay. My next question is when I replace them, is this going to make my headlights out of aim? I'm just replacing the bulb right now, I can get the full HID from a buddy of mine, he works for a company that makes them and said that he can get me a cheap one. So with just replacing the bulbs am I going to have to get these reaimed?
