I just bought a used 2003 Dakota Club Cab, 3.9l V6, 5-speed manual, no towing package/harness...it keeps blowing the fuse for the reverse lights...anyone heard if this is a recall issue--sounds quite common here...has anyone found a difinitive fix for the problem?

I've got a 2002 quad cab 5speed that keeps blowign fuses as well. I just put in a new fuse to get a sticker every year and live with it. It is kind of a pain after a while though.

SOLUTION:
I tracked the problem down to the wiring harness wrapped around the parking brake pedal...I figured out that every time I released the parking brakeit would pop the fuse...I moved the harness, problem went away. Since I just bought this I have a 60-day warranty, so I'll have the dealer replace the chafed harness...
