one headlight works on high

Default one headlight works on high

hello...I am having a big problem... my passenger headlight went out soI changed them both.. well the headlight still does not work... whenI put the high beams on it works fine... this is driving me crazy has anyone had this problem or know how i can fix it..????

sure they are the rite bulbs and positive you didnt get a burnt bulb...

i checked both bulbs ..they both work in the drivers side... only the passenger side low beam is not working.... they are 9007 cb bulbs.... the cb is for the clear blue ... from reading online i have a feeling it is the headlight switch.... any other ideas

ok now the next dumb question... where is the relay ... i looked in the 2 fuse panels... none say headlights.... 2003 dodge dakota

Thats a good question. Id have to look at a haynes manual or something. You know what you can do is take your bulbs out and grab an ohm meter. Measure the resistance between the high and low beams when your light switch is on. You should see a closed circuit, close to 0 ohms, when the light is on. If you have an open then you know its a relay or fuse.

i just called dodge and asked them where the relay is on the truck... the dodge dealer said ... i dont think there is a relay on that truck......... now i am really confussed... on the fuse panel there are no fuses that say headlights....

well you know there is a fuse. It might be on the fuse block in the engine compartment
