Is it just me or does the getting the motor warm thing not make sense? How long, if it is such a pain in the ***, does it take to disassemble and reassemble the guages? The reason I ask is because the motor will cool off in the meantime. If I were you, I would just replace the lights behind the guages with LEDs. That what I did. It looks stock during the day, but glows blue at night.

The first time you change the gauges you'll run in to all sorts of little problems...so the engine will cool down a bit. You'll want the needles in the right spots, otherwise your idle will be off, battery, oil pressure, and your gas level.

cuz the calibration may go off. It's always better to put em on wen the car is on. the little needles always go below the scale wen it's off, too.

I did it on my truck. It really wasnt that bad. I had to peel the old face off and stick the new one on. Its important to warm the truck up first and know where the needles are because if you dont they will all be off. I wouldnt do it in the winter because the truck will cool off before you can do it then the temp needle will be wrong. My temp gauge is a little off, but thats the only thing.
