Default Threw a CEL, any ideas?

Threw a CEL tonight, actually 2 of them, any ideas?

P0456 (M) Evap Leak Monitor Small Leak Detected Leak has been detected in the evaporative system.

P0522 Oil Pressure Voltage to Low SBEC II

Any help would be appreciated.

Well from what I have learned from this stie so far the P0456 code could be a gas cap. Either tighten it or replace it. As for the other code, I don't know.

Well taht is the first thing my wife did was check the cap. Maybe its time to replace it then.

change your gas cap, test your PSI sending unit...

hah i was hoping you would know i really have no clue i would change it, what does the gage in your truck read...idle and say 3,000 rpm?not to pricey but I'm not 100% sure that is the problem i haven't personally had the problem, it could just be the connector on the unit...

Funny you say that.....I started to have problem about two weeks ago, sometime when i started the truck, the oil guage would not read. Then I would turn it off and start it back up and it would be fine. Sound like the culprit??

yes but, it could be the wiring, if it were me i would change it...i had the problem in my jeep 1996 5.9L but it just wouldsay like 40 psi going down the highway...and 0 at idle however it didnt throw a code, they cost around 20 bucks . im sure you can somehow test the sending unit with ohms or somthing, i dont have the knowledge however

the evap leak you can pretty much just erase the code from the computer and ignore it, or at least that is what we hav been doing to my moms durango which throws that code every year around october or november and it stays off most of the time the other one i cant help you with, sorry
