Default 200hp V6?

I have a 1999 sport 2wd 3.9 i want 200hp at the wheels, seeing how the average is a 25% loss through the auto trany, i'm thinking I need to pick up about 92 horse at the block, how can i do this without a turbo? I allready have the flowmaster exhaust on her, but what else will I need, and which rear-end will I need to put as much as I can to the pavment? If i must go the turbo road I will but seeing as it cuts engine life by 20% I would really rather go another road as this is my wifes baby, and well... if mama an't happy, no one's happy lol!

you could always run 100 shot of NOS through it lol but as far as things you may actually consider look into rocker arms, air intake systems, get some headers to go along with that flowmaster,a bigger throttlebody, maby a cam upgrade, hypertech program the engine, but dont forget there is no replacement for displacement

Probably be cheaper to trade it in and get a V8. I hear there are a ton of upgrades available for the 5.9L and I think there are a few chips available for the 4.7L. Thats my 2 cents

I would sell your truck and buy one with a V8. it will be alot cheaper. and V8's are alot easier to mod.

You would be looking at well over $2000 to make those numbers with your 3.9.

trading it in is not really a option( as i said if mama an't happy no one's happy) but i don't have a problem puting the cash in it. we allready have a mean v8(ram charger) and a honda killing neon, so we have the 4, and the 8, now we're working on the 6 and in a few years when the house is paid off we'll work on the v10

Well, if money isn't a problem, visit SoCalDakota.com or krcperformance.com. They will have everything your heart desires. I would start with the basics. Cold Air Intake (CAI), headers, hi-flow cat, cams, rockers, electric fan, 180 tstat, throttle body, programmer. Then you can start into the more expensive items.
