I do have an O2 after the cat, but I'm taking her in for a recall that will re-flash the OBD and check/replace the cat
(they might not like the cherry bomb but no warranty so who cares
)

#1, My truck still sounds like a v-8.
#2, I had my third cat cut off my 4.7 years ago, much better sound and perf with the rest stock exhaust, $30 at a muffler shop.
