That sucks. You have a really nice truck. I would love to have your same Bull Bar on my truck, but I don't want to spend the money now. But when you get it fixed and painted post some pics so we can see how it looks, because I have some small dents on mine I would like to fix.

I don't know. I don't think it's worth the trouble since I'm gonna fill it in anyway with Bondo. I have all the supplies xept body paint. Stupid autozone, heh. When I bought the can of primer at ACE Hardware the guy asked if I was 17 or older. Wish autozone was like that.

I would check for the paint at the dealer. They have paint to match your exact color code. I know they have the small touchup tubes, although I'm not sure if they have spray cans. I know they did when I had my sportage but that was Kia, Not sure if dodge does. Make a call to your local dealer. It's fairly cheap.

Also, I would drop the headliner and knock the dent out first then fill it. There will be less of a chance for the bondo to lift off. In a big chunk like that the bondo would be weaker.

plus the bad thing about bondo, it can crack in cold weather like what we're having up here in pa, got so cold that the silicone seals for my roof lights weakened and when the snow melted, it was raining in my dak, i second banging out the dent first, if you cant do it, see if you know someone that goes to a vo-tech school and works in an auto body class, free repair pretty much, except paint of course, personally auto body is not my cup of tea but if you like it, hell more power to u, just dont crack the windshield, its like $250 for our trucks

A good automotive paint store should be able to mix and make a spray can of the color you need. All you need is the year and mfg. paint code. I do it all the time and charge $15.00. Try a Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes store (they pay my bills)

a dent like that and no water damage. you are lucky. make sure that there is no rust building up. next thing you know is the windshield will fall out.

aslong as you dont back into anything and you prepped it right. it should last for a couple years.

I a fan of bondo, aslong as it's used right and not to fill in holes, thats what metal or fiber glass is for.

when I paint the 88 dak lime green in the summer, I will mostly use fiber glass to fill in the holes, then bondo over top of that.
